About Lee Mangum and CPLR

Lee A. Mangum is a partner with CPLR Law, PLLC (“CPLR”). The Law Office of Lee Mangum is a trade name of CPLR and serves as the firm’s Carrollton office, giving West Georgia clients local access to the resources of a regional firm. CPLR also maintains an office in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Lee is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. After serving in the United States Army, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of West Georgia and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.

His practice is built around the legal needs of healthcare practices and other closely held businesses. Lee advises on acquisitions and sales, entity governance, commercial contracts, employment and independent-contractor agreements, restrictive covenants, leases, and continuing outside general counsel. His healthcare work includes dental and medical practice transactions and management and administrative-services arrangements for med spas, aesthetic and wellness clinics, and other clinician-led businesses. Each structure is considered in light of applicable ownership, professional-licensure, fee-splitting, supervision, and scope-of-practice requirements.

Lee also advises individuals and families on wills, revocable trusts, Medicaid and asset-protection planning, high-net-worth and business-succession planning, probate, estate administration, and real estate transactions.
